Valve continues to share nothing regarding Half-Life 3, to the despair of all the fans out there (us included). But it appears some fans are more desperate then others (and the extra buzz for the company doesn't hurt either). Chris Salem and Kyle Mazzei, from the marketing firm McKee Wallwork & Co., started a crowdfunding campaign at Indiegogo to convince Valve into making the game.
According to the duo, they have "devised a simple, yet diabolical plan" that will allow them to basically pester Valve into making the game. They have set several goals, depending on the amount they raise in the next 32 day, that includes a adWord campaign ($3,000), a mobile billboard ($9,000), Gabe Newell look-a-likes ($45,000) and a concert for Half-Life fans ($150,000).
Will this finally motivate Valve into making/sharing details on Half-Life 3, aka The Best Game Ever (anything less and it probably would surely disappoint)? We hope so, but it also comes across as a rather strange way of trying to coerce a developer into making a game...
