It's been almost one year since PlayStation 4 launched in every major European territory, and one of these markets - Spain - Sony has been very successful. Their new console is leading the market with 360k units sold so far. Sony's James Armstrong confirmed during a recent event in Spain, that they've sold PS4 at a ratio of 7:1 when compared against Xbox One.
According sources close to Gamereactor Spain, Microsoft has sold around 50k Xbox Ones, while Nintendo has shifted an estimated 100k Wii U consoles. Sony hasn't published sales data for PlayStation Vita.
With that in mind, for Sony it has been a good year and their new console has surpassed expectations. They're also hoping even more sales over the holiday period, and are predicting enough PS4 sales between now and February for them to reach their target of 700k units sold.
