Even if Evolution Studios have released a new update (1.03) this last weekend, there are still some issues on Driveclub. Despite that important patch, the game's servers still have some issues and they allow the access only to a small number of users.
The lucky ones who are able to synchronise with the Social Hub complain about frequent disconnections, endless uploads and, in the worst case, the total inability to participate in multiplayer races. On his official Twitter account, Driveclub's game director Paul Rustchynsky has written: "We're still working flat-out to fix the online problems, sorry for the wait".
The official Driveclub Facebook page goes into some further detail:
"We are working hard to get everyone online as soon as possible.
We have just released another server update that has increased the number of players racing which is good news, but in order to keep building on these numbers we will be running further updates in the coming days that will affect availability of some of the online game features.
Some functions are temporarily unavailable including challenges and social updates, but for those of you that can connect, you will still be able to participate in clubs, leaderboards and online multiplayer races."
So, it seems that the online problems still persist, even if Evolution Studios are working hard to fix it. We will keep you updated on their progress.
