Destiny is still, a month after release, drawing huge numbers of gamers onto Bungie's servers, the studio has confirmed. According to the latest Weekly Update on Bungie.net, 3.2 million gamers are logging in every day, and those that show up are sticking around for the long haul.
The studio, which in the same post offered their response to some of the feedback they've been getting in the wake of the recent Iron Banner playlist (a PvP mode where players go into battle carrying full armour and weapons - no standardised loadouts there), also listed a few interesting factoids regarding their latest game.
According to Bungie the average play session of a gamer is three hours (even on weekdays), and the average player is logging in 1.8 times a day (and the average player has played the game 20.9 times). Another encouraging stat for the studio is that Destiny has, in the same period of time, attracted more players than both Halo: Reach and Halo 3 combined. Not bad Bungie, not bad at all.
In other Destiny news, Bungie told Kotaku that nearly 2 million players have attempted the Vault of Glass raid, but only 500k have completed it. The studio also offered the following figures:
1,970,807 players have attempted the raid on normal.
472,082 of those have completed it.
202,729 have gone back and played it on level 30 difficulty.
36,181 have completed it on hard so far.
