A new collectible card game set in the RuneScape universe has just been announced by developers Jagex. The game, which has a working title of Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, is due to appear on PC/Mac, mobile and tablet in 2015.
Lead designer James Sweatman had this to say at the game's unveiling: "We've been quietly developing Chronicle: RuneScape Legends since the start of the year to ensure that it's not only a fun and compelling player experience, but one still very much interwoven into the rich lore of RuneScape. We're looking forward to sharing more information on the game over the coming months, especially in regards to Chronicle's debut on tablet and mobile!"
A few details were also confirmed, including the setting that'll see games played out on the pages of "a living book". There'll be a focus on quest building, which in turn will allow players "to craft their own miniature RPGs against enemies, including classic RuneScape boss monsters," as well as take part in PvP battles.
