Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is going to be released later than expected, with Dennaton Games confirming that their top-down murder-fest will be with us either in late 2014 or early 2015.
The news which was confirmed on Twitter (here and here), with the studio explaining that the game "is still getting some final tweaks and polish, expected to be ready for late 2014 or early 2015."
They continued: "Your patience is appreciated and will ultimately be rewarded with everything you hoped for and nothing like what you expected."
We're intrigued, that's for sure, and can't wait to get our hands on the finished game. Even more so considering that it's going to come with a level editor, meaning potentially limitless community support post-launch.
