"What if all those monster stories you heard as a kid were real, but we got them all wrong".

This is the premisse for The Incredible Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy, a trilogy of acclaimed graphic novels that follow a middle-age werewolf detective, a small girl that is actually a very old demon, and a pizza boy.

The books are a collaborative project by Portuguese author Filipe Melo and Argentinian artists Juan Cavia and Santiago R. Villa, and they are now working on the videogame adaptation. The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy is an adventure game, inspired by games like The Secret of Monkey Island.

It's being developed by Okam Studio, it's reportedly 80% finished, and the team are now looking for funding on Kickstarter so they can kick on and wrap things up. You can learn more about the game (or the books) via their Kickstarter page.
