Disney has removed both the Android and iOS versions of Tiny Death Star and Star Wars Assault Team from their respective marketplaces.
The publisher didn't inform developers NimbleBit (Tiny Death Star) beforehand. "We had no prior knowledge that the game would be removed," studio founder Ian Marsh told Game Informer.
Tiny Death Star, which is/was a nice little free-to-play title, was only released in November of last year. Marsh told PocketGamer that the game was "a significant source of revenue for us, so it stings that much more."
Tiny Death Star and Star Wars Assault have been removed, according to sources close to PocketGamer, so that Disney can concentrate on the release and maintenance of more high-profile projects, such as Star Wars Commander.
