As you probably know it's really convenient to just get a decent memory card for Nintendo 3DS and download all your gaming needs instead of dealing with cartridges the size of tiny stamps that easily get lost. But some people just want their cartridges, and that's fine of course, and in the case of an extremely popular game like Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - it does have consequences.

And My Nintendo News is reporting one of them, that in Japan the game has been so popular the stores have run out of cartridges. In total 1.37 million retail games have been sold since launch a few weeks ago and Nintendo will likely do everything in its power to deliver a new batch as soon as possible. Although this is a nice problem to have, it's still an inconvenience that we hope Nintendo can avoid in Europe.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS was released in our part of the world yesterday, head here to read our review of the game.
