Here's October's Games with Gold

Battlefield title among the new-look lineup.

Players with Xbox Live Gold have spent this month playing Super Time Force and Halo: Reach on Xbox One and Xbox 360 respectively, as these were the latest games offered as part of Microsoft's monthly subscription deal, Games with Gold.

October is right around the corner, and Major Nelson's blog has revealed which games the Gold members can look forward to: The platformer Chariot (an ID@Xbox game) will be available for free to download for the entire month on Xbox One. Xbox 360 owners gets two new titles as usual, with the first half of the month offering Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which will be available until Darksiders II takes over on October 16.
