Giana Sisters 2 under development

Console versions planned, late 2015 or early 2016.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is about to get a sequel, it has been confirmed. According to Nintendo Life, who have spoken to Adrian Goersch from Black Forest Games, it's in the early prototype stages and will be released late 2015 or early 2016.

Formats under consideration are Wii U, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. We're going to have to assume a PC version is likely as well. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams reached over a million sold games, although that was probably helped by the fact that it was included in a Humble Bundle.

Still good numbers though, and a sequel was expected, and the fact that Black Forest Games didn't rush it out after it's inital release in 2012 is a good sign.
