In the "Loose talk" column (basically the rumour section) of the latest issue of Game Informer, it is stated that we will see no new entry in the Half-Life series in 2010. We've been waiting for Half-Life 2: Episode Three for quite some time now, and Game Informer put the closure of the Half-Life 2 saga in further doubt when they went on to say "what will finally come out is still unknown". It is entirely possible that the series will carry on in Half-Life 3 instead.
