Total War Battles: Shogun, the latest addition to the Total War series, hit the App Store last week (£4.99). The game is a re-imagining of the series, designed specifically for mobile devices and touch screen controls.
Total War Battles: Shogun puts players in control of young samurai out to avenge the death of his father. Over 27 missions (and a further 18 side quests) players march across medieval Japan on a journey of conquest.
The game also offers simultaneous multiplayer on the same device, which promises to put gamers "in fast-paced real-time battles that rely on bold moves and swift counter-strategies".
Today Sega also announced that anyone who completes the iOS game will unlock the Sendai Clan-Pack for use in Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of The Samurai, adding further longevity to that already considerable stand alone expansion pack. The screens below show the Sendai Clan in action in Fall of the Samurai.
