According to IGN, Sony has announced that PSP Store will end in Asia and in Europe on September 15th.
As Sony representative confirmed, PSP users will be still able to purchase content for that handheld device through the Sony Entertainment Network Online Store, and past purchases can still be re-downloaded from the download list on the systems.
Sony has ceased PSP shipments last June. PSP has sold over 20 million units to date in its home nation, and worldwide PSP sales have exceeded 80 million units to date.
