Camelot Unchained, the Kickstarted MMO from City State Entertainment is running behind schedule, and the alpha that was planned for this year has been pushed back into 2015. In a lengthy post by studio founder Mark Jacobs (that you can read in full here), the delay is explained away as the knock on effect of slow recruitment, however it was added that development is coming along nicely.
Jacobs also announced "the Alpha Guarantee". Backers will get Founder's Points, CSE points and free subscription time for the MMO if the game doesn't go into alpha by the end of February of next year. "While we know we don't have to promise this, we think it is the right thing to do," he said. "Delays happen, but if we are delayed again, well, that means we aren't doing our job properly."
