Amazon has announced that their console, Fire TV, will be officially released in the UK next month. It will be priced £79 and you can pre-order one already on Amazon.
Since Fire TV is based on Android there's already plenty of apps and games available, and Amazon has a lot of developers making exclusive titles. Amongst them is Double Helix Games (Killer Instinct, Strider) a company they acquired earlier this year.
