UK retailer GAME has taken to Twitter to announce that Project CARS has a UK release date of November 21.

The ultra-realistic racing simulator was successfully crowdfunded as a PS3 and Xbox 360 game, although the developers have since cancelled those moving straight on to PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, SteamOS, and Linux. The game promises a "sandbox" experience in terms of career modes, allowing players to move freely between a wide variety of motorsports in which to contend, in addition to granting immediate access to all of the game's tracks and vehicles from the start.

As of June this year, the game included 67 cars and 52 race tracks, although a plethora of additions have been made to that list since then. The developers have enlisted the aid of racing legend Ben (the original "Stig") Collins, as well as Nicolas Hamilton and Oli Webb to help make the driving experience as authentic as possible. It is interesting to note that, as a part of their crowdfunding scheme, all proceeds of the first 2 years of sales will go directly to the individuals who partook in its development, including funders.
