In an interview with the german business magazine Gamesmarkt, German General Manager of Nintendo Germany Dr. Bernd Fakesch delivered some hard facts. Wii U has sold 350,000 units to date in Germany. Mario Kart 8 has sold 150,000 copie. 141 percent better software sales so far in 2014 compared to 2013. Early in August Börse Online reported, that PS4 sold 540,000 units and Xbox One 170,000 units for comparison (obviously both have been out a year less than Wii U). Dr. Fakesch also said, that 3DS sold through two million units in Germany. Tomodachi Life sold 100,000 in the first eight weeks since release.
