Diablo scored its first ever franchise all formats number one in the UK charts this week as Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition took number one. Chart-track reports it distribution of sales between the four formats as follows: 47% on PS4, 32% on Xbox One, 13% on Xbox 360 and 8% on PS3. It's all about new-gen it seems and the overall balance between Sony and Microsoft is a fairly close one. The PS4 version of the game also began the biggest selling console version of the game in its first week edging the Xbox 360 version of the Diablo III by a mere 500 copies.
The Last of Us: Remaster dropped 24 percent of its sales compared to last week, but clung onto second place ahead of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare that benefited from being released on PS3 and PS4 this week (+200%). Another new release, Tales of Xillia 2, managed to take 10th as it saw exclusive release on PS3.
