There was more than a few raised eye brows when Martin "Marty" O'Donnell was fired from Bungie in April this year. Things turned out to be pretty hostile between him and his former employer and shortly thereafter, he even sued them and won in court.

And now he seems to be getting even more from Bungie since they has been ordered to give him the stocks he's had as a founder of the company, that were wrongfully taken away following his dismissal. Since Bungie has grown more than a hundred fold since it was founded with the huge successes of Halo and now Destiny, these shares are believed to be worth a ton of money.

O'Donnell's stocks could only be taken from him if he were to quit Bungie himself, which he says he wasn't, and obviously, an arbitrator appears to agrees with him. Bungie is believed to appeal against the arbitration though, so it just might be and idea to keep the champagne on ice a little further for O'Donnell.

Thanks Venture Beat.
