Iwata talks DS successor

Satoru Iwata spoke to Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun (translated by Kotaku) about Nintendo's future recently. This is what he had to say

[It will have] highly detailed graphics, and it will be necessary to have a sensor with the ability to read the movements of people playing."

But Iwata added that it was not the time to reveal when the DS would be getting a successor. He also mentioned that there will be a press conference for the Wii vitality sensor in July and that Nintendo aim to have it on the market as soon as possible. According to the same article the next Legend of Zelda for Wii will launch before the end of the year.
