ID@Xbox games star in Gamescom presentation

Chris Charla reveals selection of games heading to platform first.

ID@Xbox boss Chris Charla was among those who took to the stage in Cologne, and he was there to talk about the indie games coming to Xbox One.

Titles such as Space Engineers and Super Hot are heading first to console on Xbox One. Team 17 are bringing their entire portfolio of games over to the console, including The Escapists, a pixelated prison simulator by Mouldy Toof, also first to console on Xbox One.

Smite, from Hi-Rez Studios (the third-person MOBA) was also showcased during the presentation, and will also be first to console on Xbox One. Hundreds of games are said to be in development according to Charla.

The show closed with a short trailer for Capy's Below, which like all the games shown on stage, will be heading to Microsoft's new console before PlayStation 4 or Wii U.

Other games mentioned in the presentation montage include: Cuphead, Fruit Ninja 2, Goat Simulator, Gunscape, Massive Chalice, Inside, Knight Squad, Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time, No Time to Explain, Plague Inc. Evolved, Rivals of Aether, Slashdash, Spectra, Pneuma, Threes!, and Volgarr the Viking.
