PS1 classic MediEvil to be revived via Skyrim mod
The first two MediEvil games were much-loved titles that appeared on the original PlayStation, but since then have been lost in the mists of time. However, they've not been completely forgotten, since devoted fan and active modder KorinOo now intends to bring the first MediEvil back to life by using The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim as his platform.
KorinOo is not planning to remake the entire game, just the first four levels, up to the game's first big boss battle.
"So the main idea is to NOT make it a 1 to 1 conversion of the original game in to Skyrim engine. I want to make all the levels/areas recognisable and close to original, but at the same time i want to update some archaic mechanics (combat, interactions, etc.) to modern standards," he describes the project on Nexusmods.
