According to a rumour posted by Dual Pixels, EA are working on a sequel to the shamefully overlooked Mirror's Edge. While the first game garnered a lot of praise, it failed miserably at retail and ever since rumours of a sequel have been making the rounds.
According to this rumour Mirror's Edge 2 will be shown at E3 2013 with the next generation of Xbox hardware (Durango), and it will be controlled with the next version of the Kinect camera.
Now, the strange thing here is, of course, the idea that these plans would be nailed down this early. Even if EA or DICE are working on a Mirror's Edge 2 prototype for Durango, it seems silly to talk about showing it off an event that is 14 months away at this stage. Gut feeling says this is bull shit, but nonetheless it's food for thought.
