It is no secret that THQ are fighting for their survival at the moment so any good news is welcome at the moment at it seems things are not as bad as most expected.

In fact, the company has revised their expectation and raised them slightly on the back of better than expected sales of Saints Row: The Third, UFC Undisputed 3 and in the digital space (led by Saints Row DLC). Saints Row: The Third tops four million in sales, and is a storming success.

"For the fourth quarter, THQ expects to report non-GAAP net sales of $160 million to $170 million, which is above the company's previous outlook of non-GAAP net sales in the range of $130 million to $150 million."

They are still losing money, but hopefully this slight change in fortunes can instil some much needed market confidence in the publisher.
