Inxile Entertainment has just confirmed that the release of Wasteland 2 is coming in the first or second week of September ("due to fulfillment of the physical goods and discs" it had to be pushed back a bit). The build of the game that was just made available to backers will be the final code update ahead of the game's launch next month, so if you've access to the RPG but are waiting for it to be finished before you get stuck in, there's not long to wait now.
"This has been a labor of love from the entire team and I'm incredibly proud with what they have achieved," said Inxile's Chris Keenan. "So much of their personalities are found around each corner in the game. We hope you enjoy the attention to detail in the world we all have created."
