Speaking to Gamesauce magazine, 3D Realms' CEO Scott Miller, hinted at a wave of new Duke Nukem titles in the next few years. We already now about iPhone titles and the Duke Nukem Trilogy on Nintendo DS and PSP. Miller famously pulled the plug on 3D Realms' internal team and Duke Nukem Forever this summer after attempting to make Duke Nukem Forever for 12 years.
"The next few years should see a strong resurgence in Duke. There are numerous other Duke games in various stages of development, several due out this year. We are definitely looking to bring Duke into casual gaming spaces, plus there are other major Duke games in production."
Meanwhile Duke Nukem Forever publisher Take Two are suing 3D Realms over failure to live up to the terms of their contract and deliver a playable Duke Nukem Forever. It has been described as an "IP grab", where Take Two are looking to win over the Duke Nukem rights.
