The biggest headline of the day was without a doubt the announcement of Crysis 3 this afternoon, after some weeks of speculation.
Lots of other news was coming out of EA today as well. First off, EA are now friends with the reborn GAME and Mass Effect 3 and other games come be bought online at GAME's site. Next we reported on rumours that EA were getting prepared to lay off a lot of staff, this was later denied by EA. Finally, FIFA Street was back on top of the British charts after one week in second place.
Meanwhile, competitors Activision see Call of Duty sales slowing down with Modern Warfare 3 - a sign that the franchise is in decline?
On more of a future note it seems Valve are unwilling to talk about the Steam Box - whether it exists or not - but they are revealing stuff about another R&D project that deals with "wearable computers". Apple's Tim Cook also paid Valve a visit, which naturally leads to a lot of speculation.
No surprises as Nintendo plans to bring a Mario game for Wii U to E3 this summer. No information on what innovations it may bring.
