US-based sales of Xbox One have doubled since the release of the Kinect-less console on June 9, Microsoft has revealed in a post on Xbox Wire.
"Over the past month, we've seen a strong spike in interest in our Xbox One console options, including the new $399 offering, and the amazing lineup of games announced during E3," the company said before reeling off a list of incoming titles.
While it's no surprise that there'd be more interest in a cheaper version of the console, the increase in sales reported by Microsoft does suggest that fans are keener to embrace the console now that the platform holder has reversed their position on including a Kinect with every console sold.
