According to the latest gossip from the rumour mill, Nintendo's Wii U will be released in North American stores on November 18, with the Japanese release coming just a week after.
According to Wii U Daily the next-gen console's release will mirror the Wii's launch (November 19, 2006 - with the Japanese launch just a week after), though the report doesn't mention when European gamers will be able to buy the new hardware.
The revelation comes after Wii U Daily obtained an email circulating between staff at retailer Tokyo-based Media Land. Whilst the dates sound plausible, these claims are completely unsubstantiated, and so at this stage should be taken with a liberal pinch of salt.
