WRC 3 hits grid in October

Italian developer Milestone today revealed that the official video game of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) is due to be released this October.

WRC 3 has been built using a completely new graphics and game engine (Spikengine) and will feature all the rallies in the 2012 Calendar, as well as a revamped career mode.

Milestone promise that the cars in WRC 3 "have never looked as life-like, or handled as realistically". The game will also offer improved crowd effects, rebuilt stages and more than 50 official WRC teams.

The game, to be published by Black Bean Games, will be available on Xbox 360, Windows PC, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
