Here's some news about another Kickstarter Project that has just started.
Gaijinworks has set themselves the goal of raising $500,000. If successful they have promised to use the money to bring across some of the lesser-known J-RPGs to the Western Market.
The company uses their Kickstarter page to lament the lack of interesting J-RPGs getting released outside of Japan. Their solution, use the money raised to buy licenses of obscure Japanese titles and release them over here.
The first series to attract Gaijinworks attention is the Class of Heroes. They've promised to use their finances (if they get them) to bring Class of Heroes II to PSP (which in turn will mean compatibility with PS Vita). They're trying to put together a digital release of the game, as well as physical Deluxe edition, that will come with all sorts of extras.
They've got a long way to go, with only $8,000 of the desired $500,000 pledged so far. But with 29 days still to go, they'll be hoping that the loyal J-RPG fan base will drum up enough interest in their project. For more information or to donate you can click here.
