OMGPOP, the developer of the popular pictionary-esque drawing game Draw Something, has been bought by gaming giant Zynga for a fee reportedly around the $200 million USD mark.

Website All Things D reported that the fee paid was $180 million with another $30 million or so in employee retention payments.

The Draw Something app has already be downloaded more than 30 million times (on both iOS and Android) despite only being six weeks old.

Mark Pincus, founder and CEO of Zynga, said: "The OMGPOP team has created a game that's fun, expressive and engenders real social interaction. Draw Something has captured the imagination of millions of people around the world."

Dan Porter, the former CEO of OMGPOP, will now take a role as vice-president at Zynga.
