It had been coming for a while, but today finally saw the GAME saga rumble towards some sort of conclusion.

This morning The GAME Group announced that it was delisting itself from the UK Stock Exchange, explaining the decision by admitting that the company had "no equity value left". A little bit later on in the day the retailer released a statement and filed for administration.

Good news for the UK industry now; the government today announced its intention to offer a tax break to game developers.

BioWare co-founder and GM Ray Muzyka has written an open letter to fans in the wake of anger over the ending of Mass Effect 3.

Ninja Theory has been talking about the portrayal of women in Devil May Cry.

Plenty of download news today. I Am Alive has been announced for the PlayStation Network. Rayman 3 has received a HD update and is now available to download on both PSN and XBLA. Deus Ex has landed on Games on Demand on Xbox Live (there's also details of a couple of new demos that came out on Xbox Live today).
