Sony have been careful not to position Project Morpheus as a consumer product just yet, but they are courting developers to gain support for their vision for virtual reality on PS4. Next week Project Morpheus will be a Develop in Brighton where attendees can sample the prototype.

"We are delighted to announce that Project Morpheus will be on the Develop in Brighton Expo floor," commented managing director of Tandem Events, Andy Lane. "VR is one of the hottest topics in the development community currently and by having the headsets available for delegates to try, not only will they be able to hear from some of the greatest minds about the future of VR, they will be able to get invaluable hands on time with Sony Computer Entertainment's venture."

It's worth noting that the event will be keynoted by president and group chief executive officer of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House and PS4 lead system architect Mark Cerny.

Develop in Brighton runs from Tuesday until Thursday next week.
