After all the attention we gave Sony yesterday, we thought it only right to show Microsoft a little love today.

First there's the news that the platform holder is once again looking at Family Sharing, then there's confirmation of July's Games with Gold.

There's also the news that Microsoft are planning on fleshing out their second tier launch in September with cheaper version of last year's launch titles. GotY edition of Ryse anyone?

We also talked with Microsoft about launching Xbox One in the Nordics, why we should be excited about ID@Xbox, and you can catch the full interview with Xbox man Jim McMullin here.

Gillen got hands-on with Bayonetta 2 on Wii U, and you can find out whether he thinks that Platinum's sequel is shaping up or not by heading this way.

We talk to Ubisoft about why the world of Assassin's Creed: Unity has been tailor-built for co-op play.

The saga surrounding the Kickstarter for Areal continues on, with more claims and counter-claims. Is it genuine? Is it a scam? We still don't know.

Saturo Iwata has once again been confirmed as the president of Nintendo at the company's 74th AGM. Also, Mario Kart 8 has sold two million copies so far.

Charlie Brooker is set to star in Sniper Elite 3 DLC. It's not heading to Nokia N-Gaga we don't think, but Goat Simulator has landed on Mac and Linux. The next beta for Battlefield: Hardline has been confirmed for autumn.

The Dota 2 prize fund is now a staggering $10 million. Hearthstone's expansion is coming in July. Hollywood has been drooling over Metal Gear Solid V's E3 Trailer. Space Hulk: Deathwing has been confirmed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

And finally, we met the creator of the Shenmue series at Gamelab today. We asked him the obvious question.
