It was announced during E3 that No Man's Sky would be debuting on PlayStation 4, and Hello Games' Sean Murray has indicated that while the studio would like to bring it to PC thereafter, there's obstacles that remain in the way.
"The wording is we're doing a console debut on PS4," Murray said in an interview (via Videogamer. "The thing that that leaves open is a PC version."
While they are words that will be music to the ears of PC gamers, there may still be a bit more waiting involved: "If I'm honest, we're taking on quite a lot at the moment," he added. "We're definitely coming to PS4. I would like to come to PC. Whether that arrives the same day - we're a small team!"
If it's a hit (and it certainly looks like it's going to be) then we'd be very surprised not see the game quickly arrive on other platforms, with PC likely set to follow the PS4 version, and maybe even a release on Xbox One further down the line.
