According to a report over at NowGamer.com, an extremely ambitious game in the Deus Ex series, said to have the name Deus Ex: Universe, have now been split into smaller parts to form the basis of a new trilogy.
Details are few and far between at present, but apparently the three games are planned for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the choices made in each game with follow you through the entire trilogy in a simililar fashion to the games in the Mass Effect trilogy.
The original plan was a "trans-media project encompassing console games, mobile titles and graphic novels, amongst other things", but it was ultimately deemed too ambitious.
We will have more on this once new details (and perhaps an official announcement) surface. Rumours seem to indicate that the first game in the trilogy will be called Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
