Sony's press conference lasted almost two hours and Microsoft was showing games, games, games for a full 90 minutes. Despite all this, only 28% of all Twitter posts regarding E3 were about PlayStation, and 25% were about Xbox. Instead, Nintendo stole the entire show on Twitter with a whopping 47% of the Twitter posts, that's according to Digital Spy at least.
One of the most popular posts came from Nintendo of America, with a picture of the always happy Shigeru Miyamoto playing Mario Maker. Another frequently retweeted post was from the user @dropkickpikachu, who wrote: "nintendo has just shown more playable female characters in one game preview than the other companies have all E3 so far."
