Bad news for all of you out there hoping that Ubisoft will reconsider not releasing Assassin's Creed: Unity for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. According to a Gamespot interview with senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key, it's just not something that's even possible because of the lack of digital horse powers:
"It's built for next-gen; it can't be done on current-gen," he says.
But abandoning the almost 200 million PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners out there is outright financially stupid, and we've heard plenty of rumors about something called Assassin's Creed: Comet, supposedly for the last generation of consoles. Key won't confirm that, but at least says something that indicates that there just might be something real about it:
"[T]here's plenty of current-gen Assassin's Creed fans out there. We hope to be able to talk to them about that soon."
