Nintendo just announced Splatoon via their Digital Event. Splatoon is a multiplayer game, with both competitive and cooperative modes, for up to two teams of four. Gamers will play a person that can transform instantly into a squid, while they try to splat the map with their own colors.
As a human you can shoot ink and as a squid you can move really fast between your own ink, or lay low inside the ink waiting for the perfect timing to ambush oponents. It has a lot of interesting mechanics and could be a much needed addition to Wii U. The game is being produced exclusivley for Wii U and it will release in 2015.
