Reggie Fils-Aime and Satoru Iwata both made appearances as in-game characters in Nintendo's digital event during E3, as the company announced that Mii characters will be able to star in Super Smash Bros..

Three classes (Brawler, Fighter and Gunner) will come with a total of 36 special moves (12 per class), and will join a roster of characters that includes many of Nintendo's most popular characters.

The Wii U version of the game is coming in "winter", while the 3DS version of the game will precede it on October 3. Super Smash Bros. will also be the first game to support Amiibo, which we'll get to in a minute.
