New transparent Nintendo 2DS revealed

Transparent Red and Blue launching on November 7, will also be available as bundles with new Pokémon.

Nintendo have announced two new models of Nintendo 2DS - Transparent Red and Transparent Blue. Nintendo fans will no doubt remember other transparent units and controllers (see below). In addition to launching the hardware on November 7 these new transparent 2DS units will also be bundled with Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire from November 28 (when the game launches). The game will be bundled with the unit on a 4GB SD card.

Nintendo also confirmed the UK plans for the "special demo":

" The Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version will be available in the UK from Game, Amazon, Smyth Toys Superstores, ShopTo and the Nintendo UK Official Store from the 15th October until launch.

The codes will then also be made available through a number of other partners including Wikia, Bin Weevils and Nintendo Life until mid-November."
