Crytek has made a post on their website that takes us through the changes and improvements coming in the PC version of the gladiator-themed stab 'em up, Ryse: Son of Rome.

To take full advantage of the additional power of the platform (at least, for those with a suitably beefy rig), the studio is promising to deliver the option for up to 4K resolution, as well a supersampling and plenty of other options that PC gamers will be used to tinkering with.

Crytek has also confirmed that the new version of the game will come with four DLC packs that were released on the console version over time, and on top of that there'll be no microtranscations in the PC release, further setting it apart from the Xbox One launch title.
