Resident Evil: Revelations 2 releases in four episodes

Capcom outline release plan for upcoming episodic title.

Capcom have announced that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will see release as four episodes (€5.99/each, no UK price as of yet) digitally. The episodes will release one every week for a month, each episode ending with a cliffhanger (no surprise there). Once the final episode is out, a boxed retail version with all episodes and bonus content will be released in stores. If you buy all four episodes digitally you can do so for a premium €24.99, but in return you also get some bonus content (not as much as with the retail version though).

All in all, it leaves die-hard fans with the difficult choice of going for the quick fix downloads or waiting for the complete retail version. The game will see release in the beginning of 2015 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One.
