Retro Gathering 2008

The third annual Retro Gathering was held in Stockholm (Alviks Medborgarhus) today along with the Swedish Pong Championships. Gamereactor was there and snapped some (crappy cell phone) pictures of the event. Retro Gathering is a combination of exhibition, and second-hand market with a couple of quizes (general retro knowledge + retro music) thrown in for good measure.

A huge banner welcomed 350 paying visitors to Retro Gathering 2008.

There was a panel debate with some of the "founding fathers" of Swedish gaming.

Mega Drive II lurks behind a bunch of NES stuff.

I was terrible at the game on the left. I died, died, died...

Handhelds were all the rage in the early 90's.

Swedish Pong Championships
