Square Enix big boss Yoichi Wada has told Financial Times that he expects Nintendo to release a new machine in 2011, a machine that will feature a brand new controller. Wada also doubts that the future is motion sensitive, at least for Microsoft and Sony - he does not have much faith in Natal or Sony's magical wand and doesn't think they will have a greater impact or will gain any significant popularity.
Wada didn't go deeper into how powerful a sequel to the Wii might be, but those are some harsh words from one of the big names in the industry. We'll just have to wait and see if those predictions turn out to be true or not.
