Interplay (yes, they are alive) have announced an updated Clayfighter game for DSiware and Wiiware that will be released next summer. The game is developed by Studio Black Games headed by Eric Hart, programmer on the original Clayfighter.
Interplay CEO Hervé Caen had this to add in the press release:
"We are very enthusiastic to resurrect Clayfighter's crazy characters and unique humor. Eric Hart's involvement in the previous Clayfighter titles makes StudioBlack the logical choice to give this classic franchise a well-deserved makeover."
