GamersFirst has announced that their massively-multiplayer online game, Fallen Earth, is now on Steam as a free-to-play title.

The hybrid role-playing third-person shooter is set in a post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon in the year 2156. There is over one thousand square kilometers to explore, six factions, classless advancement and a detailed crafting system.

Rahul Sandil, SVP of marketing and business development for GamersFirst, said: "Fallen Earth's return to the Steam Network is a huge milestone for us here at GamersFirst. Reintroducing the game on Steam side-by-side with APB Reloaded further cements our commitment to offering the hard-core gaming experience to players without an entry cost. Steam is a perfect collaboration for GamersFirst's titles, and the passion we share for authentic gaming experiences deliver the best possible experience for both our players."

New gamers will get a couple of items to boost their crafting and social skills, whilst returning Steam owners will get three days of bonus top-tier subscription and the popular Trashy the Hermit Crab companion pet.
