Halo: Campaign Evolved takes us back to our first run around the Halo rings, taking Master Chief through armies of Covenant forces as they try and stop him from kicking ass and taking names. It's one of Xbox's biggest releases this year, and recent speculation points to it being potentially shadow dropped this summer.

As spotted over on Reddit, there's an Xbox and Fanta collaboration running from this month. That doesn't sound like anything too spectacular, but then if you look at the rewards you get from scanning QR codes on special edition Fanta, you can nab yourself a skin for Master Chief in Halo: Campaign Evolved, which is redeemable at launch. As far as the thinking of fans goes, this means that the launch will come at some point during this Fanta collab, and could be as soon as the Xbox Games Showcase in June.

While it was expected that Halo: Campaign Evolved might launch with the franchise's anniversary this November, with GTA VI looming, that seems like it's less and less likely with each passing week. Instead, release date rumours to point to a launch this summer, but we still wouldn't expect a Fanta collab to be the dead giveaway of when the game is coming out. We will likely hear more at the Xbox Games Showcase in June, so keep your eyes peeled until then.
